If you are buying a new boat you should be aware that there are some basic things that you need to have for your new boat. The first thing you should do is to purchase the “Coast Guard Safety Package” that your dealer may offer you when you buy the boat. This package will usually include life jackets (PFDs), whistles and chemical lights for your (PFDs), flares, fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit with a manual.

Yacht chartering is the practice of renting, or chartering, a sailboat or motor yacht and traveling to various coastal or island destinations. Though this is normally a fun activity, in the recent times, yachting is promoted also as a corporate event. Over the last decade or two, there has been an increase in the number and popularity of large private luxury yachts.
Renting a yacht for various family occasions and also for corporate get together is increasingly gaining popularity. Yacht charters are especially geared toward weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, and for business or pleasure. It is now a common practice to rent a yacht for organizing seminars, meetings and corporate parties. A yacht is a leisure boat. Yachts are different from working ships mainly because of their recreational purpose. The sailing vessels came to be perceived as luxury items after the advent of powerboats. Ever since the level of luxury on larger yachts has gone towards an upward boom, the word yacht does not mean any sailing vessel anymore. Yacht, these days, generally refer to a racing or a cruising boat.

Burial at sea or the sea burial describes the procedure of disposing of human remains in the ocean, normally from a ship or boat. Burial at Sea services are available at many different locations and with many different customs, either by ship or by aircraft. Usually, either the captain (or commanding officer) of the ship or aircraft or a representative of the religion performs the ceremony. Legally, a captain can bury remains at sea, provided that environmental regulations are satisfied.
