One of my friends asked me recently why all men are crazy about playing football or what is known as the USA soccer. I am sick of explaining things that you can not understand based on personal experience. But although I was able to provide an answer light, she returned to specify yet another question. Is it different from playing soccer on the grass than playing on the beach? It was a good one.

Pier fishing is a quick, great way to enjoy saltwater fishing and is an art all its own. This form of fishing is a natural saltwater fishing opportunity for anglers living or vacationing along the coast. The fishing is done from a floating or stationary platform that is built over the water and are typically 80 feet in length. Fishing off the pier is a way of life for many and is most commonly associated with the seacoasts. Pier fishing is always a good time even if the fish aren’t biting. Fishing can be productive anytime of day, however the consensus among diehard pier fishermen is that the rising tide is certainly the best, if you can pick and choose when you fish. It is recreational, fun, relaxing and offers the benefit of providing a food source. Fishing at public piers is a cheap sport if you want to get started with a pole rental and some bait.From piers, fishing offers several advantages for both the novice and advanced angler. Fishing near jetties or inlets can also be good, but what you really want is to find a stretch of beach protected by an offshore sandbar.
